Study of possible funding channels for activities of EuroSys

This document gives pointers to funding possibilities at the European level, for EuroSys as an organization. Emphasis is put on possibilities that help achieve the goals of the chapter ("EuroSys aims to increase the visibility and quality of systems research in Europe, and to provide forums for researchers and practitioners to meet and communicate").

The document therefore stresses the possibilities to fund activities of EuroSys such as conferences and workshops and only gives pointers to the opportunities for funding research itself.

The document ends with a section on ERCIM and a section on the European Technology Platforms. These are not funding possibilities, but organizations closely related to funding as they perform road mapping activities and / or group research groups that are looking for funding.
